My Mama's Kitchen
Good food is always the best inspiration! Right before the pandemic of 2020, Moe from My Mama’s Kitchen was nearing the end of his restaurant remodeling and he wanted something bright and eye-catching for this chalk wall.
I was so excited to complete this chalk mural filled with local influencer, Nomarama’s Benny, delicious food illustrations, and welcoming lettering. We wanted to keep the chalk illustrations high and fill in the bottom with chalk marker wave textures to bring in some of beach vibes.
Menu Template Chalkboard
With the addition of the food truck, My Mama’s Kitchen also needed a chalkboard that was versatile to weekly changes but still had a lot of personality to grab your attention. The illustrations were drawn on with an oil-based marker so it was water-resistant and long-lasting.
Painted Fence Mural with Martin Luther King Jr.'s Quote
This painted mural was done during the beginning of the Black Lives Matters movement. I wanted to paint something that caught your attention and was easy to read. The point was simple, stand by what you feel matters and stand up for that.
